A personal note from our Director... 

Prior to starting Enviromate Plumbing, I had worked for a large plumbing company where I gained experience in all aspects of plumbing. After completing my apprenticeship, I worked for a small family business and soon became interested in being self-employed. Both of these jobs were really quite different, but they did provide me with extensive experience in all aspects of plumbing.

The business was started in 2001, with a focus on providing maintenance services and environmentally friendly plumbing concepts to the consumer. With the introduction of side entities to provide specialised services in pipe relining and hot water, the business has grown significantly. Through this growth, we are now at our fifth location with 27 employees. I would never have imagined Enviromate being what it is today and would like to thank all that have contributed to Enviromate's success. 

The focus now and into the future is to provide great service at a reasonable price through upfront, no hidden cost pricing across every service we provide.

2001

Business Establishment

Current owners Gavin and Amy Heaney established and ran Enviromate from the family home at Belmont North. The name stemmed from the focus on providing environmentally friendly plumbing services.
2005

Workforce Increased

The business was growing at a rapid rate, so additional tradesmen and apprentices were employed to keep up with the required services.
2010

First Business Premises

Workload significantly increased as Enviromate secured government contracts. The business had to relocate to Gateshead to account for the growing workforce.
2011

Business Expansion

The addition of new side entities Nuflow Newcastle, Newcastle Hot Water and the Enviromate Construction team.
2015

On the Move Again

Once again, the demand for service grew which sent us to our current industrial building in Redhead. We now employ 27 plumbers, apprentices and admin staff.
